A journey through the sea, innovation, and hospitality: the story of Bibione Mare S.p.A.

Bibione Mare S.p.A. was born from an ambitious dream: to transform a borderland between water and pine forests into a meeting point between nature, innovation, and hospitality.

Since 1959, every step has been taken with care and passion: from the first beach facilities to the safe harbor, to the iconic campsites overlooking the lagoon and the sea, designed to offer well-being and freedom. A journey made up of people, ideas, and respect for the environment, where hospitality evolves without ever losing touch with its roots.

Engineer Odino Sartori founds Bibione Mare S.p.A.

The first beach resorts were established in Bibione Pineda

1959

Bibione Mare S.p.A. takes over part of Camping Lido

1960

Design and construction of the first seaside promenade

1962

Camping Capalonga is born

1968

Camping Capalonga is the first campsite to develop innovative sewerage and lighting systems in the open-air sector in Italy. According to ADAC, it is now the best campsite in Europe.

1970

Portobaseleghe is born, the only port in the northern Adriatic with natural shelter

1970

A new way of enjoying open-air vacations has arrived with the installation of the first Maxicaravans designed and built by Bibione Mare S.p.A.

Late 1980s

Camping Residence Il Tridente opens its doors following the renovation and redevelopment of the former Tridentine colony of the archbishop's seminary in Trento.

1992

Pool parks are expanding to deal with the current “algae” crisis

1995

Bibione and all beaches managed by Bibione Mare S.p.A. receive Blue Flag certification for the first time

1996

Camping Capalonga welcomes four-legged friends for the first time

2014

The Welly wellness center opens at Camping Capalonga, later expanded and renamed “SeaWell SPA – Beauty & Wellness Center.”

2015

Camping Village Capalonga celebrates its first 50 years

2018

The Bibione Mare S.p.A. Group celebrates 60 years in business

2019

Bibione Mare S.p.A. joins the project promoted by the town of Bibione, “Smoke Free - Respira il Mare” (Smoke Free - Breathe the Sea), for a smoke-free beach

2019

The beach establishments of Bibione Mare S.p.A. have been awarded the “Ecospiagge per tutti” (Eco-beaches for everyone) label by Legambiente.

2020

Marina Resort Portobaseleghe gets the Blue Flag for the first time, recognized by the FEE for sustainable land management

2021

Camping Residence Il Tridente celebrates its first 30 years

2022

Introducing Nautilus Beach Bar, the beach bar opposite Camping Il Tridente

2022

The Seven establishment receives the award for social and inclusive tourism in Veneto

2023

Bibione Mare S.p.A. is the first company in Bibione to obtain UNI/PDR 125:2022 certification for gender equality
